Rvf inlets

Are the inlet trumpets on Rvf's plastic or aluminium? Mine are huge long aluminium ones for the front carbs, short for the back. Flicking through haynes and google just shows rubber affairs :|

thats correct. the haynes shows NC30 items which are rubber
