My left from my right??

Post by Tim400GB » Fri Jul 29, 2011 2:12 pm

I ordered some headlight rubber surrounds from another member but when they came through they both looked the same. On closer inspection they both had an R on them. Has he sent me two of the same side or does it just need moving round the head light?

Could someone check on their bike for me to see if the left side has a L on it?

I am wondering if Honda just used the same part for each side.

I have one sat on my desk and it says 'R' on one side and, if you turn it inside out, it says 'L' on t'other.

Graeme France just told me they are both the same for left and right lights too.

Has anyone got a picture of the top of the left hand headlight so I can get the rubber position perfect (there is a tab on the rubber for reference)

The rhs side is easy, the tab on the rubber lines up with a centre line on the light.
