putting a price on things

Post by hannakournikova » Thu Jul 14, 2011 6:52 pm

I have a set of fairings, Silhouette upper, lower and standard seat panels.

The are sprayed up very well in standard scheme with a few chips in places.

no way man! Luise will not let me bring bike stuff into the house, garage only!!

im not using them so if i get a decent offer i would let them go.

ive seen nose cones without the integrated mids go for £150 so unsure of a price.

Didn't we go through is about 6months ago and you gave everybody the run around for a few weeks! And Im sure you pm'd me and I told you what they are worth!

They are nice and fairly hard to get hold of,but alas not made of gold!

Good luck with the sale.

Kris

Not at all Kris. To me it was worth more than £250. So I'm simply asking am I living on cloud nine or will someone pay more!?

Probably is worth £250 to some people but there few and far between. Mine doesnt have the mids but i only paid about £60 for it off ebay, lenses were best part of £100 from silhouette so thats £160, thats more than enough to spend on a nose cone IMO

Trouble is finding someone that wants it in those colours, id guess most decent places would charge £150+ to paint it so realistically for someone to warrant buying it over a new panel your need to knock that off the 2nd hand value. New ones are available fully painted.

Id just keep it, hang it on the wall they look nice
