Do you trust a guy who spells 'Saturday' as 'Sataday?'
There's just no way to tell- if everything is in perfect condition then yes.
But is it likely that all of the following:
battery
reg/rec
clutch plates
sprockets & chain
spark plugs
tyres
shocks
brakes etc etc
are perfect? If not then you're already looking at spending much more than £1200 on it!
The only sensible thing to do is go and look at it with multimeter in hand.

Re: Is this worth the price?
I know what you mean, My NC24 is only JUST coming upto perfect condition after near £1500 on it i think it works out at. But i love her and wouldnt get rid of her for anything.
I just heard RVF's were amazing bikes to own and was going to do some begging from a family member to lend me money if it was worth it.

I'd say it's worth the money from first impressions.
How hard can it be?

Thats not a RVF, it just has a RVF nose cone and side panels. Not worth £1200 IMO
