Tyre options?

Ok guys, what options do I have regarding NC30 tyres.
I'd prefer road/good life rather than track orientated & at a reasonable price.

bridgestone BT92's are what you want then pal.

i always use a bridgestone BT090 on the front and BT92 at the rear - always found the BT92 front to wear unevenly compared to the stickier BT090. (middle fine, edges fine, bit in between well worn and did not make for nice cornering)

Normally get around 6000 miles out of a pair with motorway and some fun riding. (compared to 2000 miles from a BT090 rear - squared off very quickly)

i run an 090 on the front, front last 3 times longer than an 090 rear

BT092 rear and BT090 front lad....its most peeps set up for your desired need.

I thought that the 090s were quite sports orientated though???

The Bridgestone site only lists 016, 021, 023 as fitment for the NC30.

Going off the bulk buy of 090s in another section of the forum, it looks like I'll need to spend over 200 for tyres fitted. Gulp.
Thats a shed load of money, is there anything cheaper out there?

On the Transalp I can get 2 rears & 1 front delivered for £135, fit them myself & they'll do around 20,000 miles.

090s are very sports orientated indeed. If mileage is your main concern then 092s are your friends here. Still not much cheaper though.

Cheap isnt an option with an NC30,
and sports/touring are the only option

its like buying ski boots for runninga marathon.

Tyres & Brakes are the most important things when your safety's concerned, i personally dont think the tyres are extortionally priced, ok there more expansive than others, theres less choice due to the 18" rear, but dont skrimp on your rubber

so i guess its a case of the GOING RATE,

not sure if maxxis do 18" for the rear but ive heard good things, for there budget price, and maxxis have been about for years i use them on my BMX, MTB,

H rated diablos are a little cheaper, around £175 a set or theres the maxxis tyres, they do a sports/touring tyre for under £140 a set.

Hold up just realised you probably still got a 18" rear on the back, BT92's it is then, sorry pal
