Im after some NC29 Body Panels... Any ideas?

Post by revved-up » Tue Jul 22, 2008 7:36 pm

Hi,
Im after a bit of advice, Please excuse the long post.

I am after a complete panel set for my NC29, with tank if possible... Doesn't have to be mint, just a decent set, that can be repainted, or obviously if in good condition useable straight away.

The only panels on mine that are salvageable are the lower side fairings, and probably the tank if I can fill a few small dents.

Ive tried Ebay, and for some reason there is more NC23 stuff than NC29 stuff on there... Aswell as cheap chinese copies, that although look good will no doubt fit crap, and probably turn up in a million pieces! - Anyone had any experience with these?

As NC29 bits are RARE, do any other panels fit? NC23 Panels look similar, or how about CBR600 panels, Ive heard people fit the rear end to the 29. Is it an easy fit, or do you need to weld lugs to the rear subframe?

If anyone can share any advice that would be great.

Thanks, Tony.

Well, i fit the whole CBR600RR Panels - didn't need to weld lugs to the rear subframe, just drill two or three holes ;)

I've got a complete set of original NC29 road panels, not brand new but not knackered either. You can have the lot if you want for next to nothing, the postage from Northern Ireland would probably be the dearest bit. Only problem is I wont be back in the UK to send them till the end of September, so if you can hang on till then you're more than welcome. Incidentally they're white red and purple and I need to keep the tank.

Yes! Ill take them! I was looking for white ones!!

Postage shouldn't be all that, as Northern Ireland Is still the UK. Aslong as you've got a big enough box for postage

Only problem is waiting for them! lol. I take it you are abroad and back in september then?

How much are you looking for exactly? Pm me please.

Thanks alot, Tony.

Oh and do CBR600 panels really fit then? :)

http://www.interparcel.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

all you need is the over all measurements: long, high, thick and how much it weighs.
i have found that site to be excellent and several choices/quotes
