My NC29

Post by hallsie » Tue Sep 14, 2010 6:43 pm

After a bit of a battle i have finally got my bike coming round to how I want it ( still not sure about the transfers though ) - only a couple of more jobs to do like painting the seat fairings and the engine casings but finally after being skanked when I bought it we are now all mot'd up and road legal
but need to ask if anybody has any air tubes they want to shift... if not I have seen some carbon jobbies on the bay but they are a bit steep as mine are mullered ( well one is ) and if i have to buy these the paint job will have to wait a while :!:

So Far I have had to :

replace the battery , get the fork seals and the steering head bearing sorted , strip all the calipers unseize and generally overhaul , get the crankcase repaired , flush the engine thoroughly , service it , replace all the indicators , replace fairing brackets , replace the tyres , use a lorry load of paint restorer and wax , completely flush and clean out the cooling system , replace the front mudguard , spend two poxy weeks finding an electrical fault , replace the rear seat and get an mot......was it worth it ......DAMN RIGHT!!!!!!!

forgot about that one .. cut the exhaust pipe and re-welded at a slightly different angle which gives it the look you see above ( my cousin is a dab hand with a welder and he has done it a few times on his bikes )
