MOT rules for my NC30

Post by ibby4585 » Sun Sep 12, 2010 4:25 pm

I need to MOT my OKI NC30 this week.

It has nEndurance nosecone with one light covered. Also it hasnt any mirrors.

What are rules for moting a bike with these mods?

Am i right in thinking it doesnt have to have mirrors? and as long as one light is clearly visible and directed correctly it wll be acceptable.

Cheers
Kris

pretty well mate. mirrors not required.
as for the headlamps - well if they are fitted they have to work. however look at the ducati setup, most new bikes are the same now, one for low beam one for high

as long as it doesnt say "not for road use" or "race use only" you should be alright, at the worst you SHOULD get an advisory just for the MOTer to cover there arse/s

if in doubt get a BSAU badge and a baffle like i did to keep the old bill happy for my bike safe course starting tommorrow, ive even had to put my proper number plate on!!!! it looks hidious, its wider than my bike end!
