MoT in Hampshire/Surrey

Post by Chaosfruitbat » Sat Sep 11, 2010 3:51 pm

Anybody know of a reliable MoT place that isnt going to rip me off? (been stung before).

I've almost got my bike back together and want to get it all legal, but cant afford a new exhaust, and the twin stack pipes are rather loud, so looking for somebody sympathetic :)

Rose MOT centre, Sunbury-on-Thames are pretty good as are West London Yamaha, Twickenham and Black Dog, Staines.

You might want to make sure it hasn't got 'not for road use' etc on it though...

Hart M/c's in Church Crookham isn't bad - an old guy with bad hearing so noisy cans aren't too bad with him ;-)

even if they say not for road use is there not some rule like if the 'not for road use' is covered up by (i.e. Gaffa tape) then the tester isn't allowed to touch it/remove it? Therefore it,s down to the discretion of the tester?
