Post by ibby4585 » Tue Jul 27, 2010 10:10 am

Anyone seen this? Its a 6" Dymag for sale with a vfr Swingarm, its fitted loosely, but im sure a 6" wheel wont fit an NC30 will it?? If it does its a bargain!

:plus: I remember someone on the older forum tried this before but it didn't fit on NC30 swingarm...
Nice wheel though!

Mhhhhhhh Dymags . Honestly going by the 5.25 on mine i can not see a 6 fitting without serious mods. As i told you i think kris, when you picked up the mercury, i have had a prob with the chain taking small chunks out of the edge of the tyre so have had to resort to sanding the edge down to get a decent 1mm clearence.

The dymag 5.25 is out there if you know where to look. Hell, i even bought a complete bike for a pair :P

Tyga fitted a 5.75 carbon wheel to their carbon NC35:

Only a 160 tyre though (they say it's wider than 170) which says to me that they're doing it all just to get the carbon wheel rather than the width of rim.
Nice though.
