recently my rvf has developed a corroded exhaust. its on the rear down pipe which branches into the final stage of the exhaust. its on the link where the four pipes join. it has a rattling noise when its started up from cold. need to get a new exhaust asap but just wondered, would it do the bike any harm using it like this? its definatley down on power as a result but still fine to ride. i would have thought if anything would be damaged it would be the can?

If its running lean it wont like it much, probably wont do any harm as long as you dont ride it flat out but i wouldnt keep it that way for long.
