i need a set of head bearings for one of the bikes. normally i'd just rush out and buy the right bearings like the ones that came out of the bike but whats the story with these boyo's ?

i remember a conversation with rick where he told me you need a spacer for under the bottom bearing as it catches on the frame if fitted without. am i talking shit or is this the case ?

has anyone fitted these and did they work ok ?

am i better off just spending the money and getting the right bearings ?

cheers

I've fitted needle bearings to my NC. They are a little more different to tension (initially) in my experience, but no probs aside from that. I wouldn't hesitate in getting them again.
