End cans

First of all, sorry. You guys who are more regular on this forum will have no doubt seen this question 1,000 times. I have tried the search function but didn't find it very effective at all.
I want more noise from my NC30, and am on a VERY tight budget. I have found myself with 3 options.
1)Buy an end can designed for an NC30 (expensive)
2)Modify my spare standard can so it looks perfectly normal, but is in fact straight-through. (my favourite plan, because it should hopefully maintain the looks of the stock system, and I can make it as loud as I like
3)Buy some sort of adaptor which will allow me to fit a standard size slip-on can, for any bike, making my choice of cans very wide, and therefore cheap.
What have you guys done and what would you recommend to me? Any comments at all are welcome.

you could go down the route that i did as i was bit strapped for cash
i went out and bought some pop rivets :D (can you guess what im going to say lol)
so with my pop rivets to hand and angle grinder armed chuckling like a demon i took off my can and drilled the pop rivets out of the end of the can lol, then went at it with the angle grinder (obviously i measured it so it was even on both sides of the exhaust bracket) anyways i chopped it down the erhum 8 and half inch
then had to drill the holes again for the end cap and pop rivet it back on, needless to say it sounds fooking awesome lol

If all you're after is better noise then i'd be inclined to just put a wanted ad in the classifieds section for an nc30 slipon.
Cheap cans can be found pretty easily. I have a few spare cans in the shed, I'm sure many peeps in your parts have the same!

I have a Fuel end can. Their customer service is really good. have bought separate parts from them before, so they may be able to supply you an adapter only if you ask them.

As said before have a look in the classifieds or ebay.
A slip on is the easiest route to go down, especially if your system is already cut for one.
I got a Scorpion race can off ebay for £50
That sounds bloody awesome

Pretty much, yeah. Take it off, put it somewhere safe and buy a pre-cut system from geoff33 with new stainless collars for £50 and stick a can on that.
