dumped the 400 in the wet going over the b743 moorland road to muirkirk . :cry: don't really know what happened had a small rear end slide so backed off a bit a few miles later a long lefthander i am on me arse in a ditch with bike close by just glad there was no oncoming traffic, mate who was following on his blade said i was down in an instant got a few aches n pains in left hip but ok . going round to garage to asess damage further. so far top cowl and screen split uk spec :cry: mirror scrap , left mid and lower scraped lh bar end and tyga lever both indicators lh peg gear lever lh seat panel scraped , can popped off with a few scrapes. on the upside both rads and oil cooler appear ok forks wheels tank frame unscathed . had to leave bike unattended at scene and got a lift into muirkirk to phone rac recovery due to being unable to get a signal bloody useless virgin mobile when i returned with rac guy somebody had made of with the race can some people eh !

main thing is fella....ur ok.bike can always be repaired or replaced.nothing you can do when it goes away from you that quick.

re- the can had a couple of people stop and ask if i was ok in the village that had seen bike sitting in the ditch thanked them for stopping and explaned i was waiting for rac recovery coming two stopped on an old ratty gpz500 wearing a nylon cagoul n trainers pos could have been them ? thing being its of no use to anyone unless its for a nc30 crazy.

thanks guys , the phoenix shall rise from the ashes :P got the original uncut system in a local engineering shop at the moment getting stainless mid joints welded on that rcv4 supplied a big thank you to him. or may look for another can, have around one and half sets of bodykit in the shed in various states of disrepair so might get cracking on them with the plastex/dremmel and get them painted up in the original rwb. shame that the set i just trashed was a good set i bought from kermit who used to be on the old forum some of you may remember his thread and youtube video? untill yday all his fine workmanship was holding firm doh !
