Post by dbanbery » Wed Jul 01, 2009 3:41 pm

I'm after one of these atm.

are the Ducati paddock stands suitable for an NC30?

can anyone recommend one that doesnt cost a fortune?

would anyone like to sell one 2nd hand?

I highly recommend an 'Abba' paddock stand - they are the business!
Check it out : http://www.abbastands.co.uk/product_details.asp?id=1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I have a Bikeit stand:

Does the job and is fairly cheap.

The good thing about the Abba stand is that it will suit all bikes with a fitting kit. So it works out cheaper in the long run.
Would not be without mine now. But I do have the paddock stand for the single swinger too which is quicker to use for chain maintenance.

Even with just one fitting kit, it is sometimes possible to use it on different bikes!
The Abba I got was originally for the CBR600F and fits perfectly on both the NC30 & NC35 (it may actually be the exact same fitting kit!?); other than on both NC's, I've also used it on my Honda CB250 & Suzuki Bandit400! :smile:
Best £60 I've ever spent! :up:

i think i got my ABBA from here for about that, a serious bargain. they rarely go for that money though :roll:
the adaptors for the NC30 also work on the G1 ZX6R too and a 99 CB600!!

I paid £90 for mine I think direct from Abba. (I think they're a 2 bloke, 2 girl setup - still living in the 70's!)
Great stand though, and as quick as a rear only stand IMO.
Go for it!
