Can you ID this shock?

Post by ybanrab » Tue Jun 16, 2009 9:04 pm

Hi All, I've built myself a shed/workshop so I can actually work on the NC30 I have and I'm going round it looking at what needs doing. I think the shock may have lost it's damping (based on pushing it about and it feeling bouncy).
Looking at it I don't think it's original, as it's not got an external res, but I have a later model bike.

What's not clear from the photos is that I can see the word 'Shocks' written on the sticker on the shock body, and that the main shaft into the shock has a gold coating.

Any clues?

Thanks

Barny

 Hooray to me! Do I get a VPint? I'll have a Guiness please.
Pretty decent shock that! If your going to refurbish it, get the correct spring for your weight and get it revalved.

Thanks Rick and Speedy, virtual pints all round!

Now to get the rest of it running and see what state the shock is actually in!
