Riding home today and my arms started to ache, so took both hands off the handle bars, to shake them out a bit, the front started to wobble, like it had an unballanced wheel or something. (doing about 40mph)
I cant feel it when holding on to the bars though. has any one else noticed this on their superfour is it normal ?

Cheers

Did you hit the front wheel off anything recently ie a kerb, pothole etc? It could be a slightly warped front wheel from an impact like this. That would cause a wobble, especially at speed. Try getting the wheel balanced and see if that cures the problem.

Frank.

Not hit anything, think I will do like you suggest and get the wheel ballanced

i would check the front wheel for all possible causes,i would check the wheel bearings and to see if the wheel is straight.

Just a quick add on, a wobble can also be caused by a unbalanced front suspension. If you get one seal done (let's say if only one has blown) rather than both (cause you're cheap like me) then you may find your bike has a bit of a wobble.

Also caused by worn head race bearings and/or incorrect fitting or worn rear tyre and/or shock.
