I wouldnt mind paying £110 for the reg if its not going to shit itself every 5 mins, money well spent IMO, where ya get it from?
Get a 2002-2005 R6 regulator! you can pick em up for £20.00'ish

Yep, I've replaced all my honda reg recs with (used!) yam units and no more issues - ever!

I'll happily endorse them over ANY honda reg rec!

Sweet, id heard of the R6 reg mod before but didnt know if it worked with the g-force setup aswell. Maybe a silly question but why not use a GSXR reg with the kit???

I guess it'd work fine! The Stator loom should also plug right in (providing it's long enough)

I don't know why the R6 Reg / Rec was picked? Maybe becuase it has similar characteristics to the NCxx R/R's being 5 wire 3 phase *shrug*

These R/R's are phsyically a lot bigger than stock so cool better but require a little bit of modding to fit.

*touching wood* the one i've fitted to my 24 winter project is solid as a rock. Output voltages are constant 14.2 no matter what the revs are. Battery's new and takes a great charge. All is good. The bikes running a GSXR stator

Sorry to drag this thread back up but people may be iterested that ive just listed my gsxr conversion kit on ebay,

Search 'vfr 400 nc30 lightweight flywheel kit'

They are a great bit of kit. This is not the g-force kit, it just bolts on no mods to origional parts required ;)
