How much have you guys paid for your GSXR stator and rotor's? Ive found a guy with the bits but have no idea whats a good price to pay.

Re: Shiny G-Force part has arrived!
I think it was about £100 for the rotor and £80 for the Stator - mine came from the USA too so shipping was included with those prices.

Has the loom been modified on your bike? The suzuki stator will plug straight into the original honda socket with a tiny mod -(just snipping off the retaining clip on the suzuki side)
So a long as the wiring loom is intact the charging system will work.
You will need to -
Fit-
GSXR rotor
GSXR stator
G-force adaptor bracket
Modify the engine casing
Connect the stator to the honda loom
And away you go - a much 'freer' revving engine!!
Simples!!!

Re: Shiny G-Force part has arrived!
I currently have a cut down race loom that i was just gunna add the charging system wiring to it but may just be quicker to buy a complete loom.
What about the standard reg.......upto the job?

Re: Shiny G-Force part has arrived!
Standard reg/rec is barely up to the NC generator, so go for something a bit heavy duty.
You don't need a oem loom to chop, the three white wires go to the three "yellow" spade connectors and the output from the reg/rec (black and red wires) goes directly to the battery. Look in the haynes for diagram of the oem reg/rec plug coonections or get something with instructions. I use a custom made reg/rec, made here in Denmark, it's more or less failure safe and very easy to wire up to anything. A bit steep at £110
Remember to get the rubber plug on the NC stator wires, you need it to seal the crankcase. The GSXR wires are thicker than oem NC, so a bit of silicone grease on the tip of the wires (you will need to cut that part off to make a good connection) will have them slide right through.

Re: Shiny G-Force part has arrived!
Im not worried about doing a bit of wiring but im also adding switchgear for road use which again isnt to hard to wire up but if a standard loom comes up cheap it may just be quicker to put that in, im building from a bare frame up so swapping the loom isnt gunna be hassle.
I wouldnt mind paying £110 for the reg if its not going to shit itself every 5 mins, money well spent IMO, where ya get it from?
