Re: What did you do with your NC30/35 today?
I rode the mountain section of the IOM TT course from Ramsey back to Douglas.
The road has been set up as a one-way route this year.
Absolutely incredible
Regards,
Dave.

I rode from home on my NC30, with the newly fitted NC35 engine - maiden voyage, so to speak. Tank bag and Uber sized rucksack. If you've never been here folk, you really really should come and take a look.

Dave.

Re: What did you do with your NC30/35 today?
Got a flat while riding down the highway at 90km/h!
Luckily it happened at the end of my ride, not earlier in the day when I was 150km from home...
Turns out the valve stem was perished and had split, so now it's off to the shop for a new one.

Re: What did you do with your NC30/35 today?
Sunday morning: rode nearly 100 miles to Bournemouth, then over to Wimborne for a fundraising convoy to Henstridge Airfield.
Sunday evening: spent two hours in a layby on the A303 after the fuse on the charging system output fried and the battery went flat...
Monday evening: spend 20 mins riding around Bournemouth proving the new fuse and holder. Fingers crossed... :-)

When I first read that, I mis-interpreted and though you said "I got a flat spot....turns out the valve stem had perished and split..." (I thought you were referring to an engine valve!!).chrisrides wrote:Got a flat while riding down the highway at 90km/h!

Glad you are ok, and that it isn't an engine valve!
