well if you serious lighter wheels like dymags front and back are meant to make a pritty big difference, im pritty sure the vfr740 wheel is actually slightly heavier than the standard vfr one but as you hubb will be modded to fit this wheel id start at the front first
also if you going down the route of lightening the spinning bits bmc do a light weight rear brake disk thats 1/2 kilo lighter than standard, and a renthal rear sprocket is aprox 1/2 kilo lighter than the standard steel one. then there's ti bolts for the disk's and lighter wavey front disks

The plate, as you know, has a top bolt that screws directly into the original bolt hole for the sound deading plate. The two rear screws are then bolted through the cover.
I have no washers on the generator mounts to the plate. I do have 2 rubber grommits on the outside case which will stop any fluid egress form the case.
I have not had time to get into the garage as yet to reinstall the whole thing.
For reference my GSXR gear is 2005 K5 stuff - rotor and stator.

hi iv got wavy discs and rethnal sprockets, iv had it at three dinos and they run between 74 and 77 bph
wich im told is good for an nc but the kwaks are way higher i no my riding needs lots
of work wot wheels could i go for . im just about to look at my breaks i have the chance at a zx10r mastercylinder with pazzo lever clutch lever to.

Best bet is to start a thread in the workshop section detailing in proper English what the specification of your bike is and suchlike and then the clever sods on here will give you some pointers.
You will get much better responses to your questions that way as this particular thread is about something entirely different.
Get some pics in the thread too...your bike sounds pretty nice!

Update on the Shiny G force part...
Seems like Ronni was right. Whipped the unit off and tightened all the bolts some more. The main bolt was slightly looser than I reckoned it needs to be. Rejigged the grommet for stopping the crankcase spitting oil out and reinstalled. nipping up the bolts and crack!! The case has died..lol
Too pissed off.
I nipped the rest up and ran the bike and the little noise I could hear at low revs has gone...although now I need to modify my spare generator cover and I just cannot be arsed with it right now.
I am going to drinkn some beer, eat some cows and chill...
I'll sort it tomorrow...I reckon

I have pretty much got my bike sorted with the kit from G-Force too!
It arrived quickly and it was easy to drill the holes in the engine cover to fit. The awkward part is removing the fins from the outside of the casing!
I am just about ready to fire my bike back up and try it - just waiting for the tank to return from the painters, then its all systems go!!

I agree - all easy apart from the fins removal. I might use an 8mm drill and take the heads off them that way?

I have one aswell, so do Lange (another Dane who browses this forum) and L.Svedberg (Swede with very trick RVF) and I'm not sure, but Rallykay could have one aswell. I just havn't fitted it yet due to time and workshop constraints.
But it will get done, along with the rest of the electrics (making brand new loom), the mounting of the HRC copy axle, the durbahn battery, the new front subframe and a few bits and bobs..

Ahh...How could I forget the Scandinavian contingent! I knew Lasse had one as I had actually spoke with him about it..
I have refitted the system and the problem I have now found is that my sealing of the case is poor. the grommet that was originally attached to the NC generator and was slice and refitted ot the GSXR cabling is not sealing at all.
I have tried to bodge it and do not really want to use a silicon seal unless I have to..
Any ideas on this one?
Apart from that..I used my hand held grinder to whip the ribs off this new case and it took 2 minutes. Looks a bit rough but does the trick.
So, sealing advice needed please - it seems the standard NC grommet is not sliding into the case far enough and so the engine is venting out the top of the case and making my floors oily!
