It's either dirt from the plug-hole recess that's collected on the way out of if it's aluminium you've over-tightened the plug(s) and / or cross-threaded them which will strip the metal away and ruin the head.
Do the plugs go back in ok? READ the spark-plug box, it has tightening instructions, you tighten them up and x.amount of degrees for new or old plug, it's NEVER as tight as you can make it, that'll rip the fine aluminium away.
If you have an air-line you can put the plugs in and blast around the plug hole with the gun to remove junk
