Depends on what the mag-content is and how much money you have.
Mag wheels are picky. you need them x-rayed and checked by a professional ideally before working out if they are suitbale for use on the road.
If they are true high content mag wheels then they will be far too brittle for general road riding.
MC28 etc mag-teks came on road bikes and were low mag content wheels so no problesm using them, providing they havnt been abused too much, should take a better beating that higher content mag wheels
Opinions on using race Magteks on the road?

Re: Opinions on using race Magteks on the road?
Thanks for the opinions guys its apreciated. Im definatly going to stick with normal wheels on my road bike, i was going to go for a set of MC28 SP Magteks but the weight diffrence is minimal i dont think its justifies spending 800 odd pound to save less than 1 kilo. Which is why i was considering getting a set of race Magteks but thats out the window seeing as the majority of people ive spoken too agree that its too risky.
