Fairly easy to whip the carbs off, should even be able to fish them out without removing the throttle cables etc.
One tip however is to make sure the inlet rubber clamps are undone properly, wrenching out carbs can quite easily split the plastic T-junctions on the carbs through twisting.
Ive seen a lot of people do this and it's easily avoidable with a bit of care and a few more turns of the screwdriver on the inlet clamps!
