How would you go about the re-gas??? Worst thing about the quoted prices is that the bloody shock is already off the bike and ready to work on!!!!
A rear shock is one of the only things I have never messed with and to be honest I do get a bit feed up with companys acting like Yoda when it comes to suspension and hiking the prices up!!!...
I have seen a Ohlins shock get rebuilt with new seals and that was a quick 35min job inc oil change but the correct tools are a must!!!
A friend was quoted 200quid for a NC30 fork rebuild not inc springs or seals

can you believe that!! I did it for him in 45mins including a quick cuppa

that also inc Hagon spings and Honda seals when I had a account for half that!! very easy job..
Again I will ask does any body have a exploded diagram of the Sachs shocks with part numbers etc??????????
