Wow that's nice. I did some calculation and it'll be just over 11k pounds to order it + importing it into UK :D
Now we need someone to rob a bank and get us those Hondas :D

Sorry to drag up such an old thread.. But I am building the same bike for a mate at the moment.. Not an easy conversion I will admit but it is a fun one....

Nice, so you have a NS400R engine in a NC frame? It just so happens i have a NS400R engine and carbs in the garage now
Thing is i bet looms and ECU's are not easy to come by, would a ignitech work?

I think an ignitech would work with the motor as you can buy the parts you would need it would just need looking at to see how much work it would take to fit. I have not looked as I have two looms to make into one. But think I will just use the layout and make a custom loom anyway using the stock ECU. I am sure Ian Wright has some looms and ECU's for them anyway if you want to get the motor running and into a project.Drunkn Munky wrote:Nice, so you have a NS400R engine in a NC frame? Thanks I am really lucky to have a garage that I can work in and not worry too much about space. But it is a bit tight at the moment as I have 6 bikes in there and 3 of them are customer bikes I am woking on at the moment.

Re: Anyone have 1.5 mill Yen... (be warned!)
The Cradle was made at NK racing... But was done for the customer before I was involved with the bike. Same with some of the engine work as it is a 500cc big bore motor now. It has had a long and not so pleasant history before I was asked to finish off the bike. But now it will be done and I would use GIA or Derby Racing Services to make the cradle if I was doing one from scratch. I have had to source the Honda NSR500 V4 seat unit and the fairing the bike will be using. It will be closer to a 500gp replica than some of the other projects as it will be using bodywork from actual 500GP bikes and not stuff like the Tyga replica stuff. There is too much work to do and the Tyga stuff costs more than the genuine stuff anyway so better to hack up the cheaper stuff than the more expensive stuff..Drunkn Munky wrote:WOW cheers for that link, that place is like a little goldmine.

Welcome in Morepower.. I do indeed recognise you and the bike (Daves?) from the PB forum.
