Re: erm woops!!!!
Welcome and yes it looks like you might have found a genuine UK bike looking at the plaque on the right hand frame spar. however the pics are not really detailed enough to be sure.
as has been mentioned the fairings look to be aftermarket hence the paintjob. at the top of this section is some more detail on the genuine paintwork and schemes they did come with.
also bear in mind, if its a genuine uk bike, then the speedo should be MPH not KPH, so if its KPH then take the mileage with a pinch of salt, it might be a bitsa.
i wouldnt worry if it is, most NC30's now a days are like triggers broom (4 new handles 6 new heads) and keep on going.
getting clearance from your mum might be an issue lol. does she even know you passed your bike test ?

Re: erm woops!!!!
Good luck with your mum!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Once you get your test passed, you'll never look back
I used to commute daily from Doncaster to Kempston, Bedford (120miles each way)on my NC30, i used to lie awake at night looking forward to the journey to work on her.
when i moved upto the vfr750, the journey was'nt the same, soon got bored with it
Be safe, have fun

Re: erm woops!!!!
With regard to breaking the news to your Mum....
Either tell her you are gay or you have got the girlfriend pregnant (whichever will cause most horror)
....then just as she is about to explode, you just say,,,,"only kidding - i just bought a bike"
.
She will be so happy that it is not as bad as she first thought - what could possibly go wrong?
