You know if the bike is tuned properly you should never need a spare set of plugs. I know a guy that can take care of that problem for you.
Hell if it's right you don't even need a choke cable.

If it's any help - seen this many times - quick warm up for say a noise test then nothing. These V4 plugs are very fickle and may spark in free air and not under compression especially on race engines if not nicely warmed up ...
Our race NC30 spares crate includes 2 boxes of plugs i.e. 20 - always keep selling them track side as well !!

I spent a more than a day on the dyno up here just before I put her up last fall but I did change the airbox to the slightly larger Tyga one so it is most likely a factor. I would probably pay for dyno time with the cost of just 2-3 sets of plugs. Ah heck I will probably do BOTH.

The air must be different across the pond.
I have never....and I mean never fouled a plug in a race motor. 2 or 4 stroke.

Well I did find a good source for the plugs in california for $10. Truth be told with the hiperform exhaust on and the megaphone it is loud as all he!!. I start the bike and took off immediately for tech and shut it off (it stalled once on the way). Ken do you run the Denso Y27FER-C or the NGK ER9EH plugs? I was running the Denso and on this order I went with the NGK's.

Do you mind sharing where you get the plugs for $10? The best price I found was $11.50 each.

Sparkplugs.com. She gave me the $10 Denso plug price for the NGK ones which are normally $11. I bought 8 of them and I think they had 20 in stock. I called the customer service lady on the phone instead of ordering from the web site.

I am actually running a surface discharge plug in the bike. I'll have to dig up the part number. It required a hotter than stock coil to ru them though.

Are you running stick coils then or just upgraded standard ones with leads? Although if memory servesme correctly, (and it does not often do so at my age), you have done a number of upgrades to that motor besides plugs. Mine is almost completely stock except for minor intake and exhaust modifications.
