Just noticed a promo-vid of the Dutch shop selling couple of RC40's:

And the vid of 2 RC40's for sale...

There may have been only something like 200 full-power NRs built, but there were something like 300 J-spec NRs built as well. These were still very nice looking, but restricted to 77 PS... Niall's appears to be one of the UK-spec, full-power versions. Both types sometimes pop up for sale in Europe (as well as the French-spec "RC41", also restricted, but not as much as the Japanese one!) I think the Dutch ones mentioned above are way overpriced, especially considering they are J-spec...

A few years ago I nearly bought a German one for EUR40,000, but it was sold before I could see it. I'm still looking out for them, so if you see one for sale, please let me know. :peace:

I'd buy one over a Desmo16, but I don't know that the NR is a "better" bike. It is Honda's best bike!

@JZH, Agree on the overprice, but not long ago this dutch shop had 4 NR's for sale.
Now 2 are sold, still 2 for sale...he did lower his asking price to 55K (still that's a lot of money).
I paid a visit to his shop last year...I believe these are France versions as it was sort of
tagged on the frame no.plate: "Honda France". But not sure.
