I know this topic has been done to death so apologies, but im looking at getting some new boots for my Tri-arm and seek the forum's sagely advice :)
Currently running a pair of BT 090's, they seem to have a fair bit of life left in them and they are superb in the dry, very grippy, the problems start when there is the slightest moisture about, ive nearly been chucked off a few times so im looking for a more suitable wet weather tyre.
As im now keeping the bike, i'll be looking for a tyre that provides good grip wet and dry and can last anywhere between 2 and 4 thousand miles.
Im not an aggressive rider but i do like to chuck it in to corners at a fair lean from time to time, so while the tyre needs to not square off too quickly from standard 'A' road riding, it also needs to be pretty stable at angles.
Probably been spoilt in this regard with the 090's, i also ran (i believe) 014's on my ninja 636 which were awesome all round, thought that was a 180 section not 150 as on the cbr.
Suggestions and possible sellers please :D

I had BT92's I think on my NC23, couldnt fault them and they lasted longer than the BT90's I had before that

Heard alpha 10s are pretty good, although no tyre is up to big lean angles in the wet!

hehe this is true, but anything will be better than having to throw a leg down to keep the bike upright when doing 10mph round a right angle turn :D

090 front and 92 rear. You wont get much better wet grip than 090's. i have had HP go round me on 090's when I was on full wets. Any tyre wont be perfect in the wet. Damp conditions are worse as the roads are greasy.
Make sure your suspension is ok and you have the correct tyre pressures of 33 -33 on the road for a single person riding

Re: NC23 tyre choices ?
Its the 090 thats causing me slippage atm, front and rear just let go at random times in the wet, in both after rain greasyness and full on lash-down. Im pretty confident in the forks being right, i rebuilt them myself following GF instructions, though the rear shock is a bit weak.
Either way, i need new rubber within the next 1000 miles or so i reckon, hence my post :)
