braided hoses type??

Post by frizzybone » Mon Aug 17, 2009 7:41 pm

hey guys,

just checked online for some braided hoses for the NC30, seems to me like the two popular brands are HEL and GOODRIDGE.

now, this may be a silly question, but i'll ask anyways...

GOODRIDGE sells them for a HONDA VFR400R3L-R3M (NC30) 90-92

my bike is a 1992 VFR400r R3N, will I still be able to use the same lines?

my guess is YES but just making sure.. dont wanna spend money on somthing that doesnt fit.. thx!

Hi pal,

I got my NC30 hoses from this guy on ebay. They were only £54.99 for both front and rear hoses, inc all banjo bolts and sealing washers. He will do any colour that you want and is really pleasant to deal with

WARNING tho, he states that he is not the quickest to deliver (they come from Goodridge) mine took 3 weeks but at least he was honest at the time. He got a bit of neagtive feedback for this but does clearly state the timescale

cheers, Neil

thanks neil,
i'll definately check it out!
as for the color, i'm thinking transparent red w/ silver banjo bolts to match the bike, or maybe just plain silver on silver...

Got to admit, I went for the clear stainless look. No point having stainless lines then hiding them away!

It had about 3000 miles on it when i bought of a guy in 1999. It was just like brand new. I rode it about 5 times as i was only 19 and more interested in sex and beer!!! Sold it to a chinky lad. I wish i had kept it
