As some of you may have seen in my other thread, I've dropped my bike and bent the lefthand 'gear change' rear set.
I am now wondering what to do.
What options are available to me?
Fit Std pegs?
Tyga ones?
The widely available race ones like ses ones?
or are there any others that are a bit obscure / trick / different out there for sale?
Cheers
Smev

Re: Rearset Options
Rick Oliver does a set that look like the SES sets but of a higher quality (IMHO).
I have a set of Coerce ones that came on a rolling chassis I picked up.
On my bike at the moment are a set of WR's, have crash tested them and they came up pretty good.
Son lowsided it at the track doing about 140kph and bracket remained striaght, wore 2cm from end of peg but held the exhaust and ect off the deck.
You can buy individual replacement parts for the Coerces and WRs from Max MC Direct, my replacement peg and shift lever turned up in 3 days from placing order.
Not into the multiposition ones so havent checked them out.
regards

Re: Rearset Options
Sorry to read about your off Smev, hope you are okay, and it is horrible to see any bike crashed let alone one which has been so lovingly built. I have a set of obscere rearsets from my lastest bike, proper period cool. A set of Beet full bank rearsets with the two position brake pedal.
Need any used Nc30 parts? Want to fit a Ducati front end to your Nc30? If so give me a shout.

Re: Rearset Options
Sorry to hear about you off Smev. Never mind, these bikes are easily rebuildable.
I've had a few different sets of rearsets, my faves are WR's. Typical Jap quality, very light, robust and a pleasure to use:

Edit: Just noticed this is the same seller that Jon linked to above (cheaper in Jon's link).

Re: Rearset Options
Thanks for the suggestions guys - like both the diamond and WR's.
I think mine is fecked - its all bent outta shape will try a little heat and a new lever and peg maybe.
there is no rush right now - gotta wait for my hands to get sorted out before I can do anything!!!
Cheers Guys

Re: Rearset Options
I've fitted the WR's battle step kit on NC35, and it's a great piece of kit and good quality build. Might get another set for NC30.
