Gents & Gentessesses,
I'd like to refurbish my front brake discs as the gold centres are looking a bit tatty, I've tried searching but not had much joy, what is a close match to the standard colour? I seem to remember somebody suggesting a Plastikote shade was a good match for the gold calipers but since mine doesnt have gold calipers I'm unsure if that'd be a close match for the disc centres.
Finally, do I need to etch prime/prime? I've read a few people etch prime but I thought you only need to etch stuff like alloy?
Thanks!

Re: Brake Disc Centre Colour
From memory i think it was plastikote antique gold i used on a set before but wasnt entirely happy with colour its darker than honda gold close but not close enough an acid etch primer was used.
Ive since done a set for an rvf in hammerite gold which is closer to the rvf colour but would be interested if someone had a closer match for the nc30 goldish colour ?
