Is this an NC23 variant pertol tank? It's stamped "KY2" underneath. It does look like NC23 but it's smooth on the top rather than having a square indent forward of the cap.

Petrol Tank identification - NC23?
Hi,

Certainly looks like an NC23 tank. Have you tried a magnet on the front of the tank to see if it is full of filler?
