Fuel Consumption ???

HI

Daft Question,

Went out for the first time on the 400 RR over the weekend, filled her up with fuel, Ragged her for about 25 miles then....

Had to put her on reserve ? Surely this is wrong ??

OK, I was bouncing off the rev limiter a few times, was not "hanging about" but really ? 25 miles ?

Its Not leaking or anything before you ask lol

Any ideas ?

the best i have got 176 miles on one tank.....but i weigh 55kg/125 pounds....

i get 11 miles on one litre riding normal/aggressive....

Even racing I get better consumption than that (not a lot though). Might be worth removing the fuel tap and checking the mesh filter element or the pipe isn't blocked which would both force you switch to reserve to maintain the fuel flow
