Worth it or not?
Hi all, I'm new here and was wondering if I could have some advice.
I'm thinking about looking at this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Honda-CB-400- ... 1006316175 CB400 SuperFour later today but do you think it's worth the nearly 2 hour drive there and the same back? Bit nervous that it has no tax and the guy has no insurance so can't test ride it but then it sounds like it's in good nick and has low mileage.
Also, is the anything you recommend I look for if I do go see it? Are the any common problems with STs to look out for?
Thanks in advance for any advice. I look forward to getting to know you all :)
Emma

It's in the breakers yard, I tried to buy the rear shocks off him.

Re: Worth it or not?
This one is ringing alarm bells with me.
I've been watching the spares bike, as I've just got mine and thought it might be good to have his contact details.
But, the original spares bike that was listed/photographed, is now the bike that is now listed as a complete bike (and the spares bike has been replaced with the stock photo) I reckon he's made two bad ones into a good one out of 2 bikes when, which isn't a problem if it's been done well.
If you do go to view, give it a right good going over, check the numbers and a HPI, it could be a great bike, or a horror story, you decide!

If it seems too good to be true, but ey, it's worth a look.

Hi, thanks for your posts. It made me rethink the long drive and wait for one that doesn't have that dodgy feel. I really appreciate the advice :)

Re: Worth it or not?
just recieved the front wheel from that seller of the first link and its a good wheel
. arrived next day mine had a slight dint in it . Been looking at the other cb400 crash bungs, damage to side casings and low miles put me off a bit, i see its been reduced to 995 nice bike for that price.
