front brake master cylinder position??

Post by Davie Boy » Tue Apr 16, 2013 8:11 pm

Hi.
I have a problem and was wondering if anyone else has had the problem....
On full lock ether way it binds up. The brake lever hits ether the dials surround one way and the air duct the other way....
Any ideas... can I move dials? Or air duct? Dont think I can.
Any ideas?
Thanks

All I can think of is that you dont have oem clip ons or they have been moved from the standard setting, possibly lower on the fork. on my 29 the only time i have had a problem is if I have my fingers over the end of the bar while pushing the bike ( odd angle I know) and going to full lock I can jam a finger. nothing touches bike wise full lock sitting normally.

Ah ok thank you. I think it must be the forks. So I will have to look at them. Prob need to reseal them anyway as they must be very old now.
Many thanks.
