suggestion: better to download the wiring diagram of your bike. what is it by the way? is it a NC29 or NC23?

Green (Fuel / -ve) - that's the fuel sensor, I assume it connects to Fuel Pump - Green?
goes to the fuel meter. since NC29/23 dont have fuel meter, let it untapped

Purple (EOBD / -ve) - EOBD means........?
thats what i believe engine check. CBR dont have that. but i did connect it to the stand's switch.

Gray (Oil / -ve) - Oil pressure warning light, black?
try for the oil pressure light, dont know what color on the loom

Yellow (High beam / +12v) - Blue? I assume the connectors fit to the original consoles connectors and not somewhere else, or am I mistaken?
that goes the highbeam light indicator to the clock

The black wire is neutral, it says to connect it to the bike/engine for a good Earth, what's a good place to stick that, or can it be connected to an Earth wire somewhere?
mine I connected it to the negative wire from the loom

Loving the English in the instructions though. "Wrong installation will cause the meter broken!"
cross your fingers ;)

Cheers, I'm almost done (though now my high-beam button is sticking in, one problem follows another hehe) so just splice the black into an earth on the loom? Any in particular or can I (for instance) use the green from the indicators?

/edit - yep, works when stuck on the green for left indicator, though does look like my right hand switches are going to need replacing or maybe some WD40

/edit - the magnets are missing so I can't actually complete the installation, but so far it looks okay, tomorrow I get to put the bike together fully and then keep my fingers crossed I pass Mod 1 on Monday (failed last Monday as I messed up on the slalom) so I can get riding... after it goes garage for a chain/sprocket change and new front fork seals/oil, and MOT, and Tax..... this bike's pretty expensive :o

/edit - another question, I've not connected the RPM one up, trying to figure the best place to put it. Haynes suggests black and white wire from Coil 1 goes to the Engine Kill switch, can I use that or is there a better place?
