RPM Signal Wire

Ive fitted a Datatool gear indicator to my NC30, for the rev signal ive tapped into the YELLOW and GREEN wire that goes into the back of the rev counter from the CDI for a rev signal. Is this correct? Thanks for help in advance.

Did you throw the Datatool destructions straight in the bin then?
Conventional wisdom says to know your limits. To know your limits you need to find them first. Finding your limits generally involves getting in over your head and hoping you live long enough to benefit from the experience. That's the fun part.
