Good point. The other thing that makes me think that mine was a NH-177M apart from the sticker, is the black wheels, although obviously they might have been painted as well.

Are all the aftermarket fairings the same quality or are some better than others?

Basically, my mini-mission (meaning that it will probably never happen, and is low priority), is to return the bike to factory-spec. It's an OCD thing.

But I know the NH-177M is rarer than hens' teeth, so I'll just continue to ride it and enjoy it, and if plastics come up, then great.

You'll find pics of the NC30 colours there. They are all in the parts manual
See my OP. ;)

topper, no offense, but why spend a fortune on trying to return it to OE ? unless it hold some sentimental value or something i think you would find better examples to plough a couple of grand into assuming its something your going to keep forever.
For that money you could buy one thats right to start with. I wont hit you with a "its only a NC30" as i think good ones are about to go through the roof in a few years, and with so few good ones left prices over the last year or so dictate the rubbish can hold its own too price wise.
I was reluctant to sell my 1989 NH196 import that i bought in 1997 and had for 10 years. even although overall condition wasnt as good as my 1993 UK spec bike, it did hold more value to me personally.
sold it anyway, never looked back.

As I said, it's the OCD.

It'll only be something that I do if the opportunity arises. Mine has good rubber, goes just right, and has been serviced by a top man, valve clearances, carbs balanced, I'm not in a hurry to get rid. :)
