Trail Tech Vapor

Post by RegionX » Thu Apr 12, 2012 8:45 pm

So my rev counter doesnt work and I cant find a replacement in south africa at the moment. I can replace the whole unit but it costs the same a a Trail Tech vapor Digital dash and I wouldnt mind getting one. Not sure if it will work but I found this comment...

So if you know anything let me know.

Yes, it will work. You can download a copy of the instruction manual from their website: http://www.trailtechproducts.co.uk/acat ... ation.html

I can't see how a used original tacho from the UK would be near the price of the aftermarket unit though!

Thanks Cammo,

By the time I got a tacho here it would be half the price of the Trail Tech plus I would have to wait. The bike is far from standard so the digital gauge wont be out of place but the bike will be up for sale soon, is the fitment going to be a mission? What about the v4 firing pattern that I here about?

Just need something I can fit now and I wouldn't mind trying out a digital gauge for future reference as long as it isn't going to take me a week to install.
