Removal of haft from bottom yoke

Removal of haft from bottom yoke

As per title, How do you remove the shaft out of the bottom yoke as im sending the yokes off with the frame for powder coating.

you dont it will need masking.

ah thanks, Guess ill be sending my NC21 ones off instead then as i tried to push it out with the press and bent the thread :(

Lucky that the NC21 and NC24 bottom yokes i have are identical

The steering shaft will have been welded into the bottom yoke. To remove it requires the removal of the weld- and it's rewelding afterwards... not something to consider with a refinished yoke.

Mask it off instead, as stated above.
