repairing leaking tank
after spend quite a bit of cash and time getting my nc21 on the road and mot the tank has started to leak. it appears there is a small hole in the left hand side of the tank near the seat which im presuming has rusted. can the tank be welded or is there a clever way to reapair it.

Re: repairing leaking tank
If you can get a new tank do that.
A few places will weld the tank for you but it has to be properly drained and what not.
You can also buy epoxy to put over the leak and some tank clean / sealant.
If the tank has rusted through theres a good chance more of the tank is rusted (water in the tank)
So you might be fighting a never ending battle...
