hmm well ive got a spare gear shifter rod from a stock rearset...will that rod fit onto my coerce? because my rod snapped off when i dropped the bike.

As for the rod fitting. Perhaps, perhaps not.
The pictures aren't very clear and nobody is 100% certain what you have yet, so take the gear change rod off the factory one and compare it with the one on the aftermarket ones and see.

oh okay, i shall do that next week as my bike is locked at my college carpark and the college it closed till the 9th. i shall let you all know.
