NGK race plugs

Post by Cammo » Mon Sep 01, 2008 1:22 am

Interesting find, I managed to get some NOS ngk race plugs the same plugs recommended in the hrc manual (R847-10).

They have a surface fire type design, and are apparently less prone to fouling. Heat rating is 10, making them pretty cool. 8-)

I picked them up for the same price as er9eh's, couldn't resist!

Interesting. What does it spark against? The thread walls? I liked the look of the plugs I put into the GSX-R, they had 2 little arms rather than the normal 1.

None of these are available for the nc30, the 8mm size limits choice to only a few options.

I only have the one set for myself Michael, the seller has unfortunately sold out now of the 10's and 11's.

surface discharge race plugs .. V trick V £££

i have some of those for my 600, they work, but can be prone to fouling on cold starts. but that was the *-11's, havent run with the *-10's yet.

they are damn expensive @ around £40 per plug in the uk.

although i may be able to get some cheaper than that if you want a couple of sets,

reckon around the 40 euro/plug mark

PM if you are interested.

Oh yeah I know the 8mm size = suck for plug choice! I was just referring to the fact that viper had some weird shaped plugs to put in his bike, if you look at some of the designs on different plugs it's crazy, your Race plugs are like the opposite of super 4's, with no arms :D Super 0's heh
