Hi every one, I was just wondering what brake calliper seals people suggest, and where to get them from?
After fitting my SS braided brake lines and new pads one of my front callipers is sticking (pistons are quite pitted), I've decided I don't want to spend £60+ on new pistons and seals and have opted to just pop the pistons out and give them a good clean up.
As far as I'm aware the any CBR 400 from 88 onwards share the same callipers meaning a piston seal kit for any CBR 400 will be fine, is this correct?
Thanks.

Re: Brake Calliper Seals
I would clean up the pistons and use Honda seals, I once ordered seals from Wemato and was not pleased with the quality.

Re: Brake Calliper Seals
I wouldnt go with anything but Honda seals.
As for the pistons if they are really badly pitted you will need to replace them.

Re: Brake Calliper Seals
Sorry to bring this up again but I just wanted to check are the NC23 and NC29 callipers the same internally? So pistons and seals etc can be interchanged?
Thanks again.
Thanks again.
