hi ther,
iv just bought a cbr wich is a bit of a beater but are hope fully going to bring it back to its former glory. from what i was told when i got it it had been standing since 2004.obviosly the battery was dead so i tried to jump start it with an old car battery and to my supprise with a little fresh fuel the old girl started, after a phew coughs and farts it seemed to be running fine so bought a new battery and same again she started great.the second time i tried she wouldnt go and hasnt since.iv been through the haynes maneul from cover to cover and the ignition system seems good,iv stripped and cleaned the carbs(didnt adjust anything) the ecu is giving good readings and i put new spark plugs in.checked all the electrics and they seem fine.they clutch plate has ceased but iv been told that this will be due to its long stand and once i get it started and the engine warms up it should realese itself and shouldnt effect the starting of the bike as it is.iv tried every thing i can think of and im starting to get really ticked off with it,iv managaed to get it to fire on one cylinder (1) but the other are no go so if any one has any ideas the would be greatly appreiciated oh and iv replaced the fuel filter. thanks
please help!!!

Re: please help!!!
As I see you have got spark only in 1 cylinder( you also should have spark at 4, because it's same HT coils). Check the spark at 2-3 cyliders and if it's fine you need to check all fuel system - relay-fuel pump-pipes-fuel filter-carb.
