NC35 EXHAUST QUESTION - RESTORATION

Post by swisshy » Sat Jul 23, 2011 6:02 pm

Hi guys,

sorry if these seems a daft question, im having one of those days. I have a 1994 NC35 which like most has decided to rot the exhaust at the join from the downpipes/headers. I have been looking around for a new system as i feel i might as well replace the lot. I currently have standard pipes from the factory, bikes not used much and i was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of where to get a good price and exhaust from. Im thinking about stainless steel with something that is reasonably loud, any sugestions anyone?

I was also told, although i have not looked into this that i could put a nc30 system on my motorcycle as they fit, is this true, silly question i know.

Ideally i dont want to spend thousands but i understand it wont be cheap my ideal budget would be £300 but i could perhaps stretch to £500 later in the month, as im currently rebuilding the motorcycle from the ground up going through everything as it needed a few bits.

thanks for any advice guys

dan

That will certainly get you a good second hand system. If you want a single can setup then 300 would be ample.

30/35 systems should be interchangable. GF has three systems in the for sale section, including a beauty for £400;
