NC23 questions

Hi all

I took my 89 NC23 out yesterday for the first time, it behaved very well (if not a little different from what I learnt on), but I have some questions.

It seems to idle at between 1500 and 2000 RPM, it this right? and if not how do I adjust it?

Also not planning on doing it just yet but it is restricted to 33hp and I was going to send it to a garage to have it derestricted, I mentioned this to a friend who promptly told me dont do that it is really easy to do. Only thing is he could not tell me how. Any ideas?

hi, the restricters are washers that fit between the carbs and manifold, take carbs off and you,ll see them,idle speed in the manual is 1300rpm + or - 100,hope this helps..ted
