help with my forks

hi,
just want to know if eneyone can help i have a vfr 400 nc30 92 grey
havent had the bike that long and decided too strip it fully down :grin:
but hit a big prob with my forks, mine have both adjusters on top and went to wind the brass screw to its slackest ready for strip down and one side of the screw bust off :oops: [more like fell off]
cant find eney forks on ebay ,
just want too know if you can replace screw or change the whole top

Yes the tops are replaceable, there are a few companies that do them but I would recommend Rick Oliver http://www.rvf.dk/rickoliver/
the other option is Gav at jap performance as they have some trick alloy ones but pricey.
I saw it so I took it!

thanks for that, i have had a look at rick oliver and yes he does a pair at around £85
geoff do you mean og ones or a new type, would be intrested in them as i was trying to keep most thing standard apart from the fork springs, :pray:
if not i will have prise my wallet open and buy them from rick , see if he will do a deal as i need the springs aswell

Standard adjusters are crap and after some time dont offer much adjustment at all, RO replacements are the way to go if you want em to work well.
